Jack and the Beanstalk announced for dlr Mill Theatre

Celebrated for their one-hour pantos that provide a hassle-free experience away from the city centre, The DLR Mill Theatre Dundrum has revealed details of a festive production of Jack and the Beanstalk for their annual Christmas pantomime extravaganza.
Attendees will embark on a hilarious journey as Jack's massive beanstalk stretches skyward above Dundrum. Set in an era where living costs are climbing to unprecedented heights, tickets for a family of four are available for an attractive price of just €79.
Running from December 5th to January 5th 2025, audience members can expect punchy musical numbers, lavish sets and an hilarious cast that’s sure to enchant children of all ages. The show is 60 minutes long with no interval and offers a modern twist on the classic giant fable, explains director Geoff O’Keeffe:
“Join Jack and Jill, the girl of his dreams, in this crazy journey filled with enchanted beans and a towering Dundrum beanstalk! The Dundrum village dairy is experiencing financial strain due to surging rental costs. In an effort to cope, Dame Trott, played by panto favourite Garry Mountaine, has embraced the role of an Instagram influencer and personal trainer. Meanwhile, her son Jack embarks on a quest to sell their beloved prize cow, Winnie. What could go wrong!”
Speaking at the announcement Kate Canning Artistic Director of dlr Mill Theatre encouraged visitors to come and experience the perfect christmas day out:
