CultureHead 2022 Year in Review

Reflecting back on an incredible 2022, we had a remarkable journey at Culturehead. Our achievements earned us a variety of key clients in both of the public relations and digital marketing fields, leading to inspiring and meaningful campaigns that left a lasting impression. We are proud to be able to look back on these significant wins and the effort put into making sure our hard work delivered valuable results for our clients.

Amongst our favourite projects of 2022...

A highlight was teaming up with The Butler Gallery - one of Ireland's premier cultural centres who entrusted us with training their staff as well as crafting an effective online strategy for them.

Ériu Dance Company are a beacon of Irish culture and our photoshoot with de Gallaí and Gina Boreham on Dollymount Strand produced stunning, iconic images that received widespread coverage in the press.

Culturehead was the communication partner for the Culture Date with Dublin 8 Festival once again. The tribute concert held at Goldenbridge Cemetery featuring Mary Murray and Una Crawford O’Brien celebrated Thomas Kinsells' powerful legacy through music -an unforgettable event!

May kicked off a wonderful summer for Culturehead with the opportunity to join forces with The Séamus Ennis Arts Centre. We set out on an ambitious mission - create a marketing campaign that exponentially increases awareness and boosts ticket sales of their Garden Party series, offering outdoor Summer concerts beneath the serene shelter of its stretch tent.

We were ecstatic to work on the public relations campaign for The UCD Festival and, as a result of our efforts, it was an enormous success! National media outlets featured news about this year's festival which featured over 130 events ranging from live performances and science demonstrations to interactive workshops; there truly was something remarkable offered at every turn.

But we were not done there! In June we provided our support once again, this time joining Wild Roots Festival in Sligo which saw some key influencers and journalists flock to experience Ireland's newest music celebration on the tranquil shores of Lough Gill.

We were ecstatic when The Mill Theatre, Dundrum asked us to bring Tír na nÓg - a grand new Irish musical- into the spotlight. Our creative concept for its photoshoot at Killiney Beach made quite an impact and earned it the title of 'Irish Times Image of the Weekend'. Moreover, through our PR campaign we not only saw news features on TG4 but also scored a full page interview in The Irish Mail on Sunday!

In July, the doors to Páipéar opened in Dublin's newly-renovated Central Plaza building. CultureHead brought together media and influencers for an unforgettable opening night – a celebrated affair that captured attention across all channels making it one of summer’s most talked about social events!

We were thrilled to be selected as the communications partner for Culture Night Dublin's programme launch this August. Held at Grand Canal Square in the vibrant Docklands, our event created quite a stir! We made afternoon news headlines on RTÉ Radio One - and even caught Feral O'Brien's attention from RTE News who featured us later that evening too. Our efforts paid off; we received an abundance of praise and reached new heights with culture-lovers across Ireland tuning out for the event on September 22nd.

After two long years, we were thrilled to back curating the 2022 Electric Picnic ArtLot Stage with an amazing selection of performances and artists.

We were incredibly excited to create the marketing for “Sisters”, a powerful new musical depicting the strength of the Irish Women's Liberation Movement. Our Instagram reel was seen by nearly 8,000 appreciative viewers!

Ireland's beloved Wexford Arts Centre was reborn in November to brighten the Southeast with its vibrant energy! To celebrate, RTE Radio One featured its re-emergence on The Ray D'Arcy Show and also unveiled thoughtful essay published on the RTE Culture website.

Dublin City Council then made Liberty Park come alive with "The Liberty Vibe", an unprecedented open-air concert that had entertainment media abuzz due to our PR efforts in FM104, Irish Independent, Totally Dublin and Nialler9!

We helped Wild Roots Festival announce that it would be returning for a second edition (and even more spectacular than last year). FYI: For their 10th anniversary since releasing 'Home', Rudimental will be headlining the event next Summer, joined by the awesome Jenny Greene.

Neil Flynn, a talented playwright from Tralee and winner of the 27th International Radio Playwriting Competition, was honored with an incredible ceremony at BBC Broadcasting House in London. Culturehead's helped to spread the news about this momentous event and we can't wait to hear the piece when it airs in February.

As we reflect on these past 12 months of prolific partnerships, what a beautiful journey it has been! All these would not be possible without our incredible clients, amazing collaborators, wild supporters. For everything you've done for us throughout 2022—thank you from the bottom of our hearts – your support means the world to us! Let's raise a glass as we look ahead towards 2023 and beyond.

John
